It took everything in me not the call this “The Agony of Da Feet”, and I’m telling you this, because I still really needed you to hear that pun. Anyway, I recently went on a press trip with Altra Running, and got to test out their Flow 2 and Wild 2 models. It was love at first try on.
While I was on the trip I didn’t run because I was getting over a hamstring injury, but just walking in them inspired me to slowly work my way back into running when I got home. So here we are. I’m coming to you live, post 2.5 mile run, where the heat almost took me out.
During the trip I learned about Altra’s signature wide toe box (bye bye bunion pain), low drop (my knees say THANK YOU), and what heck stack height is (keeping it cushioned). I am now passing my learnings along.
You know I’m going to keep it honest, so I also share about the HOKA’s that I take walks in, and show you the difference between the two.
Ultimately, the “best shoe” comes down to what feels best for YOU. I encourage you to go to a store to get fitted for what you like, don’t just take my word for it, but I totally think you’ll love these as much as I do!
I’m open to any questions, so drop ‘em, and if I you want a deeper dive let me know, and I’ll get a shoe expert on here for a conversation!
